Position Overview

The Adobe Analytics Expert will provide business analysis and support to our key Fortune 500 clients across their online properties. You should have front-end engineering skills, a passion for web analytics, knowledge of tag management, an understanding of best best practices and demonstrable real world enterprise implementation experience.

  • Deliver high quality, high value recurring and ad hoc analysis, including excellent data storytelling and visualization
  • Ad Hoc reporting in Business Objects, Adobe Analytics, Webtrends and SAS
  • Dashboard support including mapping, updating, and creation of new Dashboards
  • Answering Deep Dive questions on customer behavior and adoption campaigns
  • Providing analytical support on new releases and projects
  • Determine how to merge various data sources both online and offline to produce actionable business insights and meet key performance metrics
  • Provide website tag troubleshooting assistance, as needed

Responsibilities

Managing the metrics and reporting aspects of projects and releases with coordination through all project phases.

  • Ideation
  • Translation of project business requirements into reporting requirements
  • Develop basic project reporting plan and perform quality analysis testing to validate project test data
  • Estimate work efforts involved in projects
  • Keep the team and client apprised of current work items and completion dates
  • Coordinate final project quality analysis, reporting, transferring of reporting knowledge, provide close-loop communication within the organization including creating senior executive dashboard

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ Year of Web Analytics, Clickstream experience with implementing Web Analytics using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or other web analytic tool for large scale enterprise web applications
  • Competent in ad-hoc, in-depth analysis and development of clear recommendations. Capable of delivering contextual, thoughtfully presented, visual output (if possible, please email examples prior to an interview, remove/mask any proprietary data)
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, must be able to listen, understand questions and develop clear insights in order to communicate with various roles (e.g. developers to other analysts and executives)
  • 5+ years working with offline data sets, specifically in the area of online sales or subscriptions is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Stack especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • BA/BS degree in mathematics, information systems, statistics, marketing, business or related disciplines or equivalent experience
  • Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload, but able to work collaboratively in a team
  • Must be comfortable and competent analyzing large data sets
  • Understanding of website tagging methodology (i.e. how to find a web site’s base tag and see attributes of each event)

  • Prior experience with 3rd party data providers
  • 5+ Years of experience developing and maintaining large scale enterprise web applications using JavaScript and various JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
  • 5+ Years of experience in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
  • Strong knowledge developing and troubleshooting Java script code and Front End performance issues
  • Experience with tag management systems such as Ensighten, Tealium, Adobe DTM, etc. is a plus
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS, jQuery, etc. is a plus
